We’re so excited about what we’re creating at House of Lux & Noir.

Our Thousand Oaks boudoir studio was intentionally designed to create more than beautiful photographs. This space was built to create an experience.

One where you get to slow down, reconnect with yourself, express different sides of who you are, and walk away seeing yourself differently.

And to be very clear:

THE MUSE CALL IS NOT A MODELING JOB

We are not looking for professional models.

You do not need experience.
You do not need to know how to pose.
You do not need to look a certain way.

This is still your boudoir experience

Your vision.
Your comfort level.
Your boundaries.
Your decisions.

One of the things I love most about sharing our work is showing real women what can happen when another real woman gives herself permission to step in front of the camera.

The nervousness. The transformation. The playfulness. The sensuality. The vulnerability. The moment she starts seeing herself differently.

That is what the Muse Call is really about.

You choose your hair and makeup style, your wardrobe, your sets, the energy of your session, and the photographs you ultimately choose for your artwork.

Whether you want something soft and feminine, dark and seductive, playful, artistic, glamorous, vulnerable, sensual, powerful, or bold, we create it together.

THE LUX & NOIR STUDIO EXPERIENCE

Our studio features two completely different shooting environments, allowing us to create a wide variety of photographs during your experience.

THE LUX ROOM

Bright. Airy. Feminine. Romantic. Elevated.

The Lux Room features beautiful natural-feeling light, creamy textures, clean tones, and timeless luxury-inspired styling.

THE NOIR ROOM

Dark. Moody. Sensual. Cinematic. Bold.

The Noir Room was created for dramatic shadows, rich textures, moodier lighting, and a high-fashion editorial feel.

Depending on your session and the experience you want to create, we can photograph you in one room or create completely different looks throughout the studio.

Every detail has been intentionally designed to make the experience immersive, artistic, luxurious, and unforgettable.

WHAT IS A MUSE CALL?

The Muse Call is a limited promotional opportunity for women who already want the Lux & Noir boudoir experience and are comfortable allowing us to share qualifying content we create together.

In exchange for participating in the Muse Call and signing a qualifying Model & Media Release, your standard $499 Session Fee is waived.

You still have control over your privacy level.

For your finished portraits, Muse Call clients may choose:

*Anonymous / Faceless Release, where you are not readily identifiable
*Full Portfolio & Marketing Release

A completely Private Portrait Release is not available with the Muse Call because permission to share qualifying content is part of the Muse Call offer.

Behind-the-scenes, video, interview, testimonial, and other media permissions are selected separately, so you can still choose what level of visibility feels right for you.

Specific privacy restrictions may also be documented for particular photographs, outfits, sets, poses, or levels of undress.

We release a limited number of Muse Call openings based on the content we are currently creating and Studio availability.

RESERVING YOUR MUSE CALL

A $500 Artwork Deposit reserves your photography date.

This is not an additional Session Fee.

Your $500 Artwork Deposit is applied directly toward the portraits you purchase from your Muse Call session.

The minimum portrait purchase is $1,499, unless your specific written Muse Call offer states otherwise.

Photographs, digital images, albums, wall art, and other artwork are purchased separately.

WANT TO PLAN AHEAD?

Muse Call clients are also eligible for our standard prepayment benefits.

If you prepay a qualifying portrait collection by the applicable deadline, you’ll receive an additional $500 Artwork Credit toward your qualifying collection, along with any applicable bonus sets, props, products, or special inclusions associated with the collection you choose.

That means your:
$500 Artwork Deposit is applied toward your artwork
PLUS
you may receive an additional $500 Artwork Credit when you qualify through prepayment.

The prepayment benefit is separate from the $499 Session Fee already waived through the Muse Call.
